UK based Glynwed International, is a market leader in pipe systems.  The company has around 10,000 employees in 230 locations in 30 countries.  Around 80% of their business is pipe systems with a turnover exceeding £900m.  

Crawley based Aalco, has supplied aluminium sheeting and stainless steels for the Borzoi joystick prototype car, for which a patent was granted, the Bluebird Electric BE1, the Bluebird Rover electric conversion and project Blueplanet Ecostar the BE3 world land speed record car using bluebird electric DC motors and battery cartridge exchange - for instant refueling between records runs (FIA ratified). A patent was also granted on the EV battery cartridge exchange in the BE1 and BE3.

The latest vehicle coming out of these stables is the vessel seen at the foot of this page, the technology for which is hidden inside and the subject of a patent application in January 201, also to be built in aluminium alloy.
